Alex's First Snowmachine Ride

So we were outside weekend before last (... I think) just shoveling the driveway and having a nice quiet Saturday and Alex isn't helping much, as he is climbing on everything in the garage. He loves the 4 wheeler and now the snowmachine. Aaron pulled it out and started it for the first time this year. Alex took to it like it was an old friend. He wanted to go! Aaron went and got his helmet and a couple of pairs of goggles and they were on thier way. Aaron was going to give him the cheaper pair of goggles and Alex wasn't having it. He HAD to wear Aaron's expensive pair. He was so cute! They went for a couple of quick rides down and back on the street and then went and blazed a trail back behind our house. It is only a matter of time before the wrong person on base sees and ends the fun. They went really slow and were very careful. They were like kids in a candy store! So fun!

The Ski-Bike

So... I'm going on 3 months without a post! I'm AWFUL! I have a bunch of new pics and hopefully that will bring some new posts... maybe :) haha

Anyway... I'll start with Aaron's Ski Bike! haha! He thought it was the greatest thing on earth! I guess it kinda is :) but he was such a little kid about it. This last fall he had the revelation to make this bike with skis on it! He found a bike at the dump and got ahold of an old pair of skiis pretty cheap too. His dreams were then crushed when he found out he was not the first person to think of this though! haha! He got ahold of our neighbor, Nathan, and he helped him weld it all up. Surprisingly, he didn't kill himself :) haha! Alex even went for a ride!
